Ferrofish Launches Pulse 8 AE High-End 8-Channel AD/DA Converter

Ferrofish is introducing the new Pulse 8 AE AD/DA and 16 channel analog to ADAT converter, expanding the brand’s range of studio converters with a smaller-scale solution. Until now Ferrofish offered larger channel conversion solutions such as the A 32 Pro, A 32 Pro Dante, and Pulse 16 Series, which have been well received in the studio and even broadcast environments. The Pulse 8 AE will appeal also to a wider market.

RME Updates SteadyClock Technology Reducing Self-Jitter Within a Femtosecond

RME, the German manufacturer of audio interfaces, has officially rolled out its SteadyClock FS, the latest version of its SteadyClock technology that offers synchronization and jitter suppression in digital audio signals. According to the company, the new ultra-stable femtosecond clock takes self-jitter to an all-time low by improving its second, analog PLL circuit and referencing both Direct Digital Synthesis and PLL to a low-phase noise quartz crystal, resulting in improved sonic image.
