Lavoce Launches Powersoft IpalMod Compatible 18" And 21" Subwoofers

Lavoce Italiana is attending ISE 2022 and announced the official launch of its new SAN184.50iP and SAN216.00iP high motor strength neodymium subwoofers, designed to partner with Powersoft's IpalMod amplifier and software platform (8500W @ 1ohm). Just one of many new products that the dynamic Italian transducer company is presenting as it returns to in-person pro audio trade shows. Lavoce has a heritage of 35 years designing and manufacturing professional loudspeaker components and is now extending its portfolio with new IpalMod compatible subwoofers.

Because the demand for bass is often in conflict with the demand for space, and in general a subwoofer’s size is proportional to its deep-bass output, BassBoss Loudspeakers released the SSP215-MKII Low-Profile Subwoofer. The Los Angeles-based company describes this new model as a powerful subwoofer with a small frontal dimension of only 17.5". Monoprice Releases Dual 10- and 12-inch Monolith THX Certified Ultra Subwoofers

Monolith, the premium audio brand from Monoprice, announced it is doubling down on its THX Certified subwoofer offerings. Specifically, Monolith has added new M-210 dual 10- and M-212 12-inch powered subwoofers to its growing line of premium performance, THX Certified home theater solutions. Engineered for rooms up to 3,000 cubic feet in volume, the two new dual drivers designs are said to deliver "chest-thumping output" with ultra-low distortion. Also, as with all Monoprice products, these and won't break the bank.

This Test Bench explication focuses on the Dayton Audio Epique MMAG E150HE-44 "full-range subwoofer," in itself an interesting concept. Like its larger E180HE-44 brother in the Epique line, the E150HE-44 is based on the patented Multiple Magnet Air Gap (MMAG) technology invented by Enrique Stiles. The two new Dayton Audio Epique MMAG woofers were designed with direct support by Enrique as an independent transducer engineering consultant, working in conjunction with the engineering team at Dayton Audio.
