Spatial Introduces Fully Customizable Soundscape Library for Workplace Environments

Spatial, the immersive sound solutions company, announced the launch of a new soundscapes library designed for wellness in the workplace and commercial environments. Since its launch in 2017, Spatial achieved success in delivering immersive sound technology to enhance human experience in real world environments. Soundscapes designed to enhance workplace wellbeing are inspired from studies that show sound is directly tied to increase well-being, productivity, and sound masking.

FORCE Technology, a large technology consultancy and service company and one of the large certification institutes in Denmark, providing on-site inspections, measurements, and calibration laboratories, established a partnership on product sound quality testing with Sound Hub Denmark. The goal is to reinforce the work of the many audio companies that are already using the resources offered by the Sound Hub, while also expanding the range of services available.

Following 18 months without any announcements, Mark of the Unicorn (MOTU) announced that it is now shipping Digital Performer version 11, a major upgrade to their flagship audio workstation software now including lots of improvements, support for macOS Big Sur, native compatibility with Apple silicon Macs and dozens of additional user-requested enhancements. And the Cambridge, MA-based company also announced a redesigned UltraLite-mk5 USB-C audio interface.

First unveiled at NAB 2018, Blackmagic Design's DaVinci Resolve 15 is now shipping! The massive update is now the world’s first solution to combine professional offline and online editing, color correction, audio post production, multi user collaboration and now visual effects together in one software tool. New audio features added since NAB 2018 include editable audio automation data, FairlightFX presets and user presets, support for sound libraries, and new AAF support features.

Pro Sound Effects has announced the release of NYC Ambisonics, its first sound effects library containing files captured with SoundField microphones and delivered in Ambisonics B-format bundled with SurroundZone2 software, allowing to point “virtual microphones” in any direction for greater control and creativity.
