Audinate Announces Flexible Licensing for Dante Virtual Soundcard, New API for System Integrators, and AWS Cloud Support

Audinate announced the availability of transferrable licenses for the popular Dante Virtual Soundcard audio interface software. This new license type allows users to easily move a license from one computer to another. In a separate announcement, a new Dante Controller API is now included with Dante Domain Manager 1.5 to support systems integration. And Dante Connect now enables cloud-based workflows using Amazon AWS.

Transom Capital Group Names John Maier as CEO of Bose Professional

Transom Capital Group, the Los Angeles-based private equity firm that recently assumed ownership of Bose Professional's commercial installation and conferencing businesses, has announced the appointment of John Maier as CEO of the newly independent Bose Professional. Maier spent the past several years as an operating partner for Transom, overseeing the strategy for Mackie. Before that, Maier was the CEO of Blue Microphones.

Bose Corporation Announces Sale of Bose Professional to Transom Capital

Bose Corporation, a US-based multinational audio systems company, has announced the sale of the Bose Professional Division to private equity firm Transom Capital Group. With this deal, Transom (the same company that previously acquired the LOUD Group of audio companies that includes Mackie - Loud Audio) will assume ownership of the Bose Professional commercial installation and conferencing businesses. Bose will retain its portable PA systems as part of its core consumer product business.
