The new B&C Speakers 12CXN88 and 15CXN88 high output coaxial transducers are now shipping. These larger motor alternatives feature a long throw, 88mm (3.5”) voice coil woofer, combined with a 75mm (3”) diaphragm high frequency driver. Both new coaxial drivers offer an excellent balance between HF and LF output, allowing cabinet designers to increase performance without compromise.

The 8” 8NSM64 is a rather unique new pro sound midrange driver from B&C Speakers. It’s a closed-back midrange! Closed-back midranges are often associated with cheap speakers because by using a frame with no relief holes in the back, you don’t have to build a midrange chamber. In this case, the 8NSM64 is a very high-power handling (500 W continuous) 8” midrange for professional PA applications, with a reasonable volume that can be damped with absorption material. British digital audio solutions company, DiGiCo, announced the appointment of Austin Freshwater as its General Manager. Austin joins the DiGiCo team from Canon, the imaging and information technology solutions company, where he spent the previous 10 years working in sales, latterly becoming Sales Director for UK and Ireland.
