IOT747 Releases Low 20ms Latency Mode for IDC777 Module

IOT747 announced a new low latency feature for its IDC777 ultra-low power module. The IDC777 is a fully integrated dual mode LE Audio (LC3 Codec Auracast and Unicast) and Classic Bluetooth module, optimized for Bluetooth wireless audio designs. With this new 20ms low latency stereo mode, the IDC777 module supports even further flexibility for device customization, enabling applications for gaming and an improved experience for Auracast audio sharing and broadcasting.

Qualcomm has launched Qualcomm aptX Adaptive, a next-generation audio codec designed to be dynamically adjustable. The breakthrough audio codec technology combines robustness, premium audio quality, scalability and low-latency designed to provide a single flexible solution for virtually all key wireless audio applications. Effectively, it combines the features of low-latency aptX, aptX, or aptX HD, depending on the content and the connectivity.

Audio Precision unveiled their next-generation Bluetooth I/O module for APx Series audio analyzers. The APx Bluetooth Duo module incorporates all the capabilities and features of AP’s original Bluetooth module, while delivering a wider selection of A2DP codecs, faster pair and connection times, an increased feature set within APx500 measurement software, and improved RF shielding for use in production test environments.
