GRAS Releases New Production Line Microphones with EQset

GRAS Sound & Vibration launched the new GRAS 40PO-L and 40PO-H measurement microphones with EQset technology. These new production line microphones enable consistent and reliable audio testing, ensuring high-quality results across different locations. With a new capsule design and a frequency response up to 40kHz — suitable for High-Res compliance and ultrasonic applications — these microphones deliver improved accuracy in test results.

The much anticipated SoundCheck 20 audio test software update is now released, and Listen is offering incentives to help users upgrade to the latest version.​​​​​ The motivations to upgrade are many, starting with the fact that SoundCheck 20 introduces Listen’s state-of-the-art perceptual distortion algorithm for end-of-line testing – Enhanced Perceptual Rub & Buzz. SoundCheck 20 also includes a host of new features for multichannel and communications testing.

The Listen AmpConnect 621 was unveiled earlier with the launch of SoundCheck 19 software, and is now available. The new multichannel, multifunction, high resolution audio test interface includes all the functionality required for audio testing in just one unit, including an amplifier, microphone power supply, line outputs and digital I/O. And with a sample rate of up to 192kHz, it supports measuring high resolution audio designs.
