Sony Unveils New Personal Audio Products at IFA 2019

At the IFA 2019 consumer electronics show in Berlin, Germany, Sony had a lot of new products to show, including new wireless headphone models that improve on the company’s leading technologies. But headphones also need audio sources, and can particularly benefit from high quality audio players, like the new Sony Walkman NW-ZX500 and NW-A100 series, which support direct streaming services and also feature MQA support for streams and downloads.

New Premium Multichannel A/D Converters Series from Asahi Kasei Microdevices Reaches the Market

Asahi Kasei Microdevices (AKM) announced that its new 32-bit premium/advanced multichannel A/D converters series AK555x and AK553x are now available. There are four new converter devices in 2-channel, 4-channel, 6-channel and 8-channel variants in the AK555x series, featuring 115dB S/N and supporting up to 768kHz PCM at 24-bit/32-bit or 11.2MHz DSD256 outputs.
