Bang & Olufsen Redefines Indulgence with Beoplay H100 ANC Headphones

Bang & Olufsen unveiled its most luxurious and advanced noise cancellation headphones to date. The new Beoplay H100 expand the experience of the successful Beoplay H95 headphones, retaining the exceptional craftsmanship, elevating the sound experience, and offering up to 35 hours of playtime. Priced above all other premium wireless headphones available, Bang & Olufsen says the Beoplay H100 headphones are designed to receive software upgrades and user replaceable parts for the future.

Bang & Olufsen announced Beoconnect Core, described as a new streaming box that turns legacy Bang & Olufsen speakers into a wireless speaker system. But under the hood Beoconnect Core is effectively an extremely advanced hub that combines all legacy connectivity options found in the company's products for more than 30 years with the latest wireless technologies, including UWB, and using Fraunhofer IIS' LC3plus high resolution codec.

In order to meet the quality expectations of their users, high-end consumer electronics manufacturer Bang & Olufsen decided on the new open standard LC3plus codec from Fraunhofer IIS for their wireless streaming devices. LC3plus is currently the most advanced solution that combines support for high-resolution audio with low delay. LC3plus has been standardized by ETSI as TS 103 634, and is the first solution to support high-resolution music streaming services also over wireless accessories.

The new top-performing loudspeakers from Bang & Olufsen, the BeoLab 50 were just unveiled. The new speakers combine sophisticated sound and a beautiful design, with everything one could wish for in the home of the future… today. You wouldn’t tell from the outside, but the technology inside was inherited from the state-of-the-art BeoLab 90. As the brand explains, the BeoLab 50 is the first design from Bang & Olufsen, emerging directly from the prestigious and innovative BeoLab 90 loudspeakers.

Originally introduced at IFA 2016, the latest wireless speakers from the famous Danish brands also caused a positive impression at CEDIA 2016, even though the company had several other installation-specific announcements. With smart speakers and connectivity causing all the rage in Dallas this year, the new BeoSound 1 & 2 certainly surprised many by raising the bar on how flexible high-quality wireless speakers can actually be.
