Harman announced the new JBL 4329P Studio Monitors at CES 2023. This completely self-contained, connected, active loudspeaker combines high-resolution audio streaming with extensive wired and wireless connectivity options, while still retaining the design principles that make the JBL Studio Monitor models a classic. Expanding its Classic Series, JBL also launched the L10cs Powered Subwoofer, a downfiring design featuring real-wood veneers.

Following a repositioning of the division, announced at the end of 2018, Harman is now focusing on launching new products. In the Mark Levinson brand, Harman introduced two integrated amplifiers from the Mark Levinson 5000 series, the Nº5805 and Nº5802. And in a world premiere, Mark Levinson revealed the Nº5101 integrated player, streamer and DAC.

The signs were there. In 2016, JBL announced the release of the 4312SE 70th Anniversary Studio Monitor model. Now, Harman International announced the introduction of the JBL L100 Classic, a modern take on the all-time best-selling JBL L100 loudspeaker. As with the legendary L100 3-way bookshelf loudspeaker released in 1970, the new L100 Classic is in itself a consumer version of the popular JBL 4310 Pro Studio Monitor with updated drivers and crossovers, and a slightly different driver alignment.

Samsung-Owned Harman International Industries Acquires Arcam

The news was out in the British press and there's been a message sent by Arcam to its own distribution network, shared on social media. Apparently, Harman has decided to acquire the famous British audio brand Arcam for reasons unknown. No details are available about the transaction. On Arcam's twitter account the company confirmed the news, by stating "the current team carries on and joining Harman opens the door to major R&D and manufacturing resources for our future."

Adding to the 519 high-resolution and streaming audio player, and the 526 dual-monaural preamp with high resolution DAC and phono stage, both previewed at CES 2016, the revitalized company now introduced the 523, a version of the 526 without the DAC, and launched the 585 dual-monaural integrated amplifier with Precision Link DAC, and the 536 and 534, monaural and dual monaural amplifiers.

Revel Makes OEM Audio System for Ford Lincoln

Revel, the Harman high-end home-audio brand, entered into a 10-year agreement to offer Revel brand OEM audio systems installed in Ford Lincoln automobiles. This agreement is the first time the Revel brand will appear in a factory car audio sound system, as was done previously with the Harman JBL and Infinity brands.
