The Audio Engineering Society Welcomes Gary Gottlieb as President for 2025

The Audio Engineering Society (AES) has announced Gary Gottlieb as President as of January 1, 2025. An AES Member for forty years, Gottlieb has been deeply engaged in various levels of leadership in the organization for the last twenty, bringing an extensive experience in AES leadership to his role as President. In his role, Gottlieb is already focused on the promotion of the lineup of AES events in 2025, and creating a compelling slate of events for 2026 and 2027.

The Audio Engineering Society has announced the incoming Officers and Governors following the 2024 Board of Directors and Board of Governors elections. The Society’s membership has elected Brecht De Man, as President-Elect. De Man will serve one-year terms on the AES Board of Directors as President-Elect in 2025, in 2026 as President, in 2027 as Past President, followed by two years as a Governor. All those newly elected will begin their terms on January 1, 2025, when Gary Gottlieb will become AES President.
