PSI Audio introduces the A326 D-REX, a bass extension cabinet intended as a complement for the recently launched A226 MAIN monitor speakers. As the A226 MAIN studio monitors already reach all the way down to 20Hz, the A326 D-REX was designed not as a subwoofer but to act more as a Dynamic Range Extender, considerably enhancing the dynamic accuracy and transparency for the spectrum from 20Hz to 100Hz. The combination of A226 MAIN monitors and one or two A326 D-REX turns the listening into a lifelike experience.

As you may have noticed, the ephemeral and ill-defined concept of "resolution" has been on my mind of late. Many consumers and yes, even some audio professionals, conflate bit depth with resolution. In a broad sense, this is understandable but it's sample rate that overshadows word length.
