MAG Audio Introduces 15 and 18-Inch High-Power Neodymium Woofers for Compact Applications

Displayed for the first time at the Prolight+Sound 2016 show in Frankfurt, MAG Audio announces the release of its highly efficient neodymium 15” and 18” woofers for modern lightweight high-power subwoofer units. A New Brand Identity for the Relaunch of Ciare

Following the acquisition by Italian driver manufacturer 18 Sound, announced in November 2015, the new Ciare brand identity has been presented at the Prolight+Sound 2016 show, in preparation for the company’s relaunch. The Senigallia, Italy brand already shared the booth with 18 Sound at the Frankfurt show and introduced three new drivers, including an improved coaxial design, a new 1” exit high-frequency driver and a midrange 6.5” driver.

Eighteen Sound Confirms Acquisition of Ciare Brand

Eighteen Sound of Reggio Emilia, Italy, has revealed the acquisition of the Ciare brand, of Senigallia, Italy. The announcement follows a previous strategic agreement with Ciare, announced in June 2015, which allowed Eighteen Sound to control worldwide sales of Ciare’s catalog. The confirmed acquisition broadens the scope of Eighteen Sound’s product line offering, as well as expanding the two brand’s access to new global markets.

New Speaker Drivers for 2015 from B&C Speakers

Italian loudspeaker specialist B&C Speakers introduced several new drivers and improved solutions since NAMM 2015 and the 2015 ProLight+Sound show in Frankfurt. In addition to the new MBX woofer series, B&C Speakers released three new titanium diaphragm compression drivers, two large diameter subwoofers, two midbass drivers, and three sealed back midrange devices.

The 8” SSF082.00L is a new powerful long throw subwoofer with a 2” voice coil.
