Lavoce Italiana 11,000 sqm production facility is an ISO 9001 certified operation since 2012 and produces a full range of Neodymium and Ferrite woofers, compression drivers, and soft dome tweeters. All LaVoce loudspeakers are subjected to rigorous design validation processes based on Finite Element Analysis (FEA) modeling and simulation techniques, use of CAD tools and electro-acoustic plus mechanical simulations. All products have to pass complete quality control processes and are subjected to a series of stringent reliability tests. All testing instruments, including Klippel Quality Control Inspection systems used in production are the exact replica of those used in R&D in Rome, allowing teams in the two continents to effectively share the same parameters database to ensure the accuracy and consistency of measurements.
for use in flat subwoofer enclosures
(as well as in-wall or in-ceiling design),
sealed or vented.
During the 2015 InfoComm show in Orlando, Florida, where LaVoce was exhibiting for the first time, the highlight was the new SSF102.40 10” Subwoofer, a ferrite magnet and heavy duty steel basket driver, based on a long throw shallow design, optimized for symmetrical force factor and suspension compliance up to the maximum excursion, allowing high value of SPL in extremely flat enclosures.
The SSF102.40 is ideal for use in flat subwoofer enclosures (as well as in-wall or in-ceiling designs), sealed or vented, with high linear excursion, low distortion and high SPL output. Its FEM optimized ferrite motor and long throw suspension combines a 2.36 inch CCAW voice coil to allow a 24.6 mm peak to peak maximum excursion and a mounting depth of only 3.27” (83 mm). The SSF102.40 uses aluminum former and water proof treated paper for the cone material with a rubber surround and is rated for 500 Watt program power handling (250W AES) with 92dB sensitivity and 4 ohm nominal impedance.
The SSF082.00L 8” Subwoofer is another of LaVoce’s new solutions for the installation market, based on a long throw design, optimized for symmetrical force factor and suspension compliance up to the maximum excursion. This compact low frequency driver allows high values of SPL, with very good dynamics and very low distortion.
This resonance free and heavy duty steel basket design uses a FEM optimized ferrite motor and long throw suspension combined with a 2 inch CCAW voice coil and optimized cooling system to allow a 29 mm peak to peak maximum excursion. Former material is glass fiber with a water proof treated paper cone. The SSF082.00L is rated at 700 Watt (350W AES), 8 ohm, and is ideal for use in very small subwoofer enclosures, sealed or vented, with high linear excursion.
