Bluacs Joins Audio Foundry and Licenses Its Fresh Air Technology to Tymphany

Audio Foundry, the collaborative automotive audio technology platform, announced Bluacs as its newest member. The leading speaker research company from Australia is widely recognized in the industry for its Fresh Air Speaker technology, applicable to woofer and subwoofer designs that leverage the full car cabin volume. As part of this collaboration, Tymphany will be licensing Bluacs' technologies to advance in-vehicle sound experiences.

Rockford Fosgate announced that they are now shipping the new 10-inch M2 Color Optix subwoofers designed for use in sealed box applications. The products will ship just as the boating season kicks off. Rockford Fosgate markets and distributes high-performance audio systems for the mobile, motorsport, and marine audio aftermarket and OEM market. The company celebrates its 40th anniversary this year.

Pioneer Electronics (USA) introduced several new high performance automotive loudspeakers, all using advanced designs and materials. The new Z series of speakers and subwoofers and the next generation D series speakers and subwoofers, have been engineered to reproduce music with premium sound quality, respond to hi-res audio increased dynamics, and take full advantage of unique concepts and proprietary advanced technology, benefiting from Pioneer's decades of automotive loudspeaker design theory and testing ability.

Dayton Audio sent a pair of new shallow-mount home/car audio subwoofers, the 10” LS10-44 and the 12” LS12-44. Both subwoofers are less than 4” deep. Just before the annual IFA consumer electronics show in Berlin, the European Imaging and Sound Association (EISA) Awards, featuring more than 20 audio categories have been announced. Winners for 2015-2016 include Hi-Fi, mobile, home-theater and in-car products.
