Audyssey Announces Updated MultEQ-X Software With New Room Equalization Capabilities for Home Theater and Listening Rooms

Audyssey, the Californian company created in 2002 by Prof. Chris Kyriakakis and Prof. Tomlinson Holman, and the pioneer in room correction as an integrated solution in AVRs and pre-processors, announced that it has released MultEQ-X, a powerful new software application for calibrating home theater audio visual receivers (AVRs) that have Audyssey’s MultEQ room equalization technology built-in. The new software offers greater control and new MultEQ features.

Since it was launched in October 2019, the McIntosh MX123 has become a popular audio and video processor for countless home theaters. It launched with 4K/60Hz compatibility, but as technology has progressed, the company now announced an 8K compatibility upgrade for the MX123 A/V Processor. The upgrade also introduces other enhanced HDMI video features, including expanded HDR and Dolby Vision support.

McIntosh continues to make 2020 a year to remember in the brand's history, with a succession of new product launches that renews and expands its vast catalog.
