Sonus faber Announces Gravis III Subwoofer at ISE 2020

Sonus faber has chosen ISE 2020 in Amsterdam to announce the global launch of its new subwoofer model, the Gravis III. This is the latest addition to the Sonus faber Gravis collection of active subwoofers, designed to match all Sonus faber full-range loudspeakers collections. The Gravis III is an intermediate subwoofer model, completing the Olympica Nova speaker line introduced in September of 2019.

Artison, the Nevada-based loudspeaker manufacturer launched its first crowd-funding campaign on Kickstarter, to raise money to build and market a small high-performance DSP subwoofer and to promote the product to the average person. The project’s funding goal was not reached, achieving only $38,729 of the pledged goal of $250,000. Still, probably the marketing goals were achieved.

dB Technologies announced the new high performance TH “theater” series stage monitors, starting with the DVX-DM12 TH and DVX-DM15 TH active two-way models. Featuring either 12” or 15” neodymium woofers with 4” voice coil coupled with 1.4” exit HF neo compression driver with 2.5” voice coil, the cabinets have rotatable HF drivers for left or right configuration.
