QSC Introduces Next-Generation K.2 Series Loudspeakers with Significant Feature Upgrades

QSC introduced the K.2 Series, the highly anticipated next generation of the company’s global best-selling K Family line of powered loudspeakers. The new K.2 Series, which is comprised of the 8-inch K8.2, 10-inch K10.2 and 12-inch K12.2 full-range loudspeakers, offers a number of significant feature upgrades, establishing an entirely new standard in powered loudspeaker technology. QSC is also announcing the introduction of the KS212C, a first-in-class, single-box powered cardioid subwoofer.

QSC Expands TouchMix Series Capabilities with TouchMix DAW Utility Version 2.0 Software

QSC announced the release of the TouchMix DAW Utility Version 2.0. The TouchMix Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) Utility is a free software application for the TouchMix series that enables and simplifies two-way migration of digital audio wave files between TouchMix and DAW software on either Windows or Apple Mac computers. Version 2.0 offers this capability to users of all three models of TouchMix digital mixers, including the TouchMix-30 Pro.

QSC Promotes Demonstration of Q-SYS Software Running on Standard Dell Server Hardware

QSC called its demonstration at the Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) show, "a glimpse into the future of Audio, Video and Control Processing". The demonstration was an industry-first preview, running existing Q-SYS software on standard Dell server hardware, highlighting the shift from stand-alone single-purpose proprietary DSP hardware to a highly scalable, standards-based IT platform and architecture. During ISE 2017, QSC also introduced a new Q-SYS processor and peripherals.

QSC Announces Q-SYS Platform Software Release to Support AES67

QSC, a member company of the Media Networking Alliance (MNA), has announced that it will incorporate support for AES67 in its Q-SYS Platform with the forthcoming Q-SYS Designer v5.3 software release. Introduction of support for the networked audio interoperability standard will allow audio distribution between Q-SYS and other systems supporting AES67 without additional hardware.
