Jensen Transformers Introduces new ISO-MAX products at AES 2017

At the 143rd Audio Engineering Society Convention in New York, Jensen Transformers expanded its ISO-MAX line of products. The new PI-RJ2X for balanced XLR connections, and the CI-RJ2R for unbalanced RCA connections, are both designed to take a stereo L-R signal, sum it into mono, and output the signal over Ethernet. Jensen also introduced the DIN-LI-SUM-B, and DIN-LI-SUM-U, 35mm DIN rail interface modules, with L-R summing functionality.

Primacoustic (a division of Radial Engineering Ltd.) announced that it has restructured its in-house custom install and AV contractor sales team. The changes are designed to better address the growing market for acoustic materials, while adding the additional responsibilities of two other Radial brands, Hafler and Jensen Transformers, to the sales team's tasks.

Inspired by a presentation by Bill Whitlock, President of Jensen Transformers - a three-hour tutorial seminar titled “Audio System Grounding and Shielding: An Overview” - during the Audio Engineering Society convention in New York in 2007, Gary Galo decided to investigate a little more into the subject and do some reviews of the mentioned equipment.

Jensen Transformers announced four new direct boxes that will target live stage, house of worship and multi-media applications. They include the Concert-1 and Concert-2 for instruments and the Media-1 and Media-2 for laptops and other consumer audio sources.

Jensen’s new website features responsive design for use on computers, tablets and smart phones, adapting to various screen sizes. Along with updated schematics, application notes and updated interactive features for product and information request, legacy content including white papers and data sheets from the former site have been preserved and remains accessible through the new ‘Jensen Insider’ portal.
