GrAI Matter Labs (GML) and StreamUnlimited announced a partnership to demonstrate multiple novel applications using Artificial Intelligence (AI) in music and consumer audio. The companies will promote their expertise in product development for consumer devices in connected audio and AI, creating new reference platforms to deliver new experiences in speech, music and multimedia for portable speakers, soundbars, TVs and more.
The partnership announcement was made at IFA 2022, where GrAI Matter Labs is promoting its "Life-Ready AI" solutions, with hardware and software solutions that are intended to assist users in real time. The young company, headquartered in Paris and with offices in the Netherlands and US was named a CES 2022 Innovation Awards Honoree for its Life-Ready GrAI VIP (Vision Inference Processor) System-on-a-Chip (SoC). This brain-inspired GrAICore neural engine, combines embedded ARM processors, and all interfaces needed to enable AI applications in a 12nm SoC that also includes all the memory needed for compact designs. The SOC ships with an SDK and a multitude of easy-to-use models.
Joining forces with StreamUnlimited, the Austrian supplier of software solutions and hardware modules for connected audio products, GrAI Matter Labs can offer solutions for personalized home audio, intuitive interactions and real time sound processing in all classes of products. Using GrAI Matter Labs' platform, StreamUnlimited is demonstrating applications on sound transformation that include source separation for karaoke, remixing and even professional DJing and more. Enabling high fidelity real-time source separation for music or speech is just one example of the plethora of new use cases and applications of the leveraging GML's GrAI VIP in StreamUnlimited' embedded platforms.
