For the first time, the Merging Technologies Atmos Bundle provides a complete monitoring solution that also includes room compensation and adjustments to ensure consistency when working with Dolby Atmos projects. The Sonarworks SoundID Reference software guides the user through an automated measurement to identify room issues and build various correction profiles for different workflows. The corrections are then exported to run directly in the Merging Anubis Pro SPS for the lowest latency, consistency and convenience.
For acousticians or Dolby consultants calibrating systems manually, the Anubis system provides trims, delays and 336 EQs - enough for the most challenging room! And for users who need to mix Dolby Atmos projects in large events and touring productions, the all-in-one solution offers a way to ensure consistent monitoring in different locations.
Above all, the Merging Anubis is a comprehensive monitoring engine. With 128 inputs, it can handle sources, stems, speaker sets and cues in a huge variety of formats with full control. Whether mixing with the mouse or with faders, the Anubis compact size makes it fit nicely along any controller and its display provides direct monitoring control and feedback where they are needed most.
With two mastering-grade headphones outputs, the Merging Anubis can feed individual cue mixes, perfect when monitoring Atmos binaural mixes with a client or feeding a low-latency cue mix to an actor for ADR or a musician for tracking. The Hapi MKII headphones output extends this same functionality.
The Merging Atmos bundle is in fact a complete studio recording system including Merging Technologies acclaimed microphone preamplifiers and converters, as well as a talkback mic and circuits. The included Hapi MkII can also provide additional I/Os such as MADI, AES, Analog, or even digilink for connectivity to Avid HDX systems at a very competitive price.
For reference, the complete Merging Technologies Atmos Bundle consists of one Merging Anubis PRO SPS desktop interface and controller, one Hapi MK II rack mount interface equipped with two DA8 cards, the Sonarworks SoundID Reference for Multichannel - Plugin for Anubis, Sonarworks SoundID Reference for Multichannel software, and the Sonarworks measurement microphone.
