Master & Dynamic entered the true wireless category earlier on, with a well-tuned design, differentiated by the use of handcrafted acetate and stainless steel. As the technology evolved, the company updated its catalog with the most demanded features. Built on the its MW08 platform launched in late March 2021, the MW08 Sport boasts new features tailored to the active user.
With the MW08 Sport Active Noise-Cancelling earbuds, Master & Dynamic offers the best available Qualcomm Bluetooth 5.2 platform - supporting AAC, SBC, and Qualcomm aptX Adaptive audio streaming - while retaining the original design that its users already recognize. That shows how the company understands brand values, and doesn't need to brag about technical specs that effectively are now very similar for most TWS products.
Coupled with the updated internals, Master & Dynamic added proprietary machined aluminum nano-bonded external antennas, working alongside Qualcomm TrueWireless Mirroring to provide exceptional connectivity and a secure wireless connection, preventing drops up to a range of 100ft/30m. And of course the new model adds the now highly thought-after hybrid Active Noise Cancelation and an awareness mode, which the company calls Ambient Listening (companies can be descriptive without the need to copy other company's designations).
This transparency mode does in fact offer two different levels of environment listening for improved awareness outdoors, as well as two modes of ANC. A six-microphone talk solution with proprietary noise and a proprietary wind-reduction array means that users can also make clearer calls wherever they are - the obvious advantages of adding the ANC and sensing platform.
Another focus for Master & Dynamic is the user's activity, and the MW08 Sport expands the brand's line of true wireless earbuds with a great balance of high-performance workout features while maintaining an elegant design (no need to use fluorescent green for the "sports" model). The shatter-resistant sapphire glass body and Kevlar fiber case offer a luxe look and are built to withstand any workout. New foam ear tips provide enhanced comfort. In addition, 5 sizes of silicone fit tips, and 2 sizes of foam ear tips provide a custom fit that conforms to the shape of any ear and stays put during the toughest workouts.

Up to 12 hours playtime, an additional 30 hours of battery life in the case, and convenient induction wireless charging make staying powered-up between workouts and other activities effortless. Along with the launch of the MW08 Sport, Master & Dynamic is introducing a new companion accessory, the MC100 Wireless Charging Pad. The MC100 is crafted from coated canvas and has a cast aluminum base that enhances heat dissipation for optimal charging efficiency. This charging pad can supply up to 10 watts of power to compatible devices.
The MW08 Sport earbuds can also be charged via the included USB-C cable and USB-A adapter. The MW08 Sport Active Noise-Cancelling True Wireless Earphones ($349/€349) are now available in Black Sapphire Glass/Black Kevlar, Silver Sapphire Glass/Black Kevlar, Blue Sapphire Glass/Black Kevlar, and Green Sapphire Glass/Black Kevlar. The MC100 Wireless Charge Pad ($69/€69) is available in Silver/Grey and Gunmetal/Black.
