The Jensen Guitar Speakers are manufactured by SICA Altoparlanti s.r.l., based in Trecastelli, in the heart of the Marche region, the “Musical District” in Italy. In 1996, SICA Altoparlanti accepted the challenge to reproduce the legendary Jensen speakers for the electric guitar market. After having consolidated the success of the Vintage series, Jensen debuted the Jet series, a range of innovative speakers for the most contemporary music styles. Today, Jensen is one of the leading, global suppliers to the industry and to guitar players through a worldwide extended network of business partners, distributors and resellers.
Featuring all the most advanced technologies available, including the Jensen’s exclusive “Reinforced AlNiCo” magnet design, the new Blackbird 15/100 represents the ultimate Jensen voicing concept. The 15” cone grants a powerful depth in the bass range, and the uniquely treated membrane, powered by a generous 2” aluminum would voice coil, delivers a vocal, expressive midrange, and a delicate, yet chimey top end.

The Blackbird 15/100 is available only in the Raimondo Sbarbati’s Signature Edition, limited to 100 units worldwide, hand-assembled by a specialized team in the SICA factory. It features an exclusive Metallic Black basket finish and a laser-etched aluminum label that carries Raimondo’s signature and the progressive serial number.
The Jensen Blackbird 15/100 is available now at €339 Euros or USD $369,95 (MAP).

New Tornado Special Edition
At NAMM 2025, Jensen also introduced the Jensen Tornado Special Edition, a newly developed neodymium guitar speaker, with a tight, powerful response, optimized for the most demanding contemporary tones and high gain applications.
After more than a decade of growing success with the Jensen Tornado series, established as one of the most popular neodymium speaker families, the company decided it was time to offer a new voicing concept, designed from the ground up to meet the tonal requirements of today’s musicians, from the pop/rock and studio session guitarists, up to the heaviest, and most extreme metal players.
To ensure a tight and punchy response, some of the energy in the deepest bass range has been shifted up in the lower midrange, giving a thicker, richer tone where the electric guitar fundamental tones are. The midrange is well balanced with a subtle presence push to ensure clarity and detail, without harshness. The top end is carefully tailored to deliver a smooth, progressive roll-off, free from resonances and artifacts, allowing the upper harmonics to open up the guitar tone, with a cutting, present rendition, yet clear from excessive fizz.

The Jensen Tornado Special Edition is now available for €179 Euros or USD $229 in both 8 and 16 Ohm versions.
