Earthquake Sound is now shipping its new range of powered MiniMe DSP subwoofers, combining 600-watts of high efficiency Class D power in two models, with 10- or 12-inch long-throw high-quality drivers, combined respectively with a 10- or 12-inch Mass Tuned SLAPS patented passive radiator system. Both the MiniMe DSP P10 and MiniMe DSP P12 offer full mobile app control of the built-in DSP features, including Auto Room Correction, SHS (Sub-harmonic Synthesizer), Selective Variable Crossover and operation switch for different ranges.

The new MiniMe DSP P10 ($1,099 MSRP) and MiniMe DSP P12 ($1,399 MSRP) are the latest subwoofers from California-based Earthquake Sound, one of the most prolific audio manufacturers in North America, with an extensive range of patented technologies in transducers and speaker designs, particularly for low frequency extensions. The MiniMe DSP P10 offers a frequency response from 20 to 135Hz, while the larger DSP P12 model is able to reach from 18 to 115Hz. Both subwoofers offer automatic signal-sensing, RCA inputs and an operation status LED light indicator, which is particularly useful given their remote control capabilities.

Expanding the company's MiniMe series of subwoofers, the all new MiniMe DSP amplifier utilizes Earthquake’s advanced class D circuitry with over 90% efficiency plus the added benefits of DSP control through mobile devices, to tune the subwoofer properly to its environment. Complicated and professional room tuning is now made possible right at the user fingertips through a mobile app allowing the user to dial the response to the exact needs in the room that it is placed in.

Through an automated room correction process that the iWoofer Pro app offers, users are able to achieve customized performance, achieve the maximum amount of SPL and get a more linear response for any 2.1 or home theater configuration. The system also allows control over the 48dB/octave crossover within the application for a steep frequency cutoff.

The MiniMe DSP subwoofers would not be complete without Earthquake Sound's patented and infamous SLAPS passive radiator technology. The design dramatically increases the subwoofer’s efficiency and capability for subharmonic frequency reproduction and high SPL that can be felt. The unique design of the SLAPS passive radiator employs dual identical suspensions and a specified mass that allows it to move the same amount of air in either direction. When coupled with a premium active driver, SLAPS enables the sub to deliver more bass at sub harmonic levels while reducing the load on the amplifier.

Both models of the new MiniMe DSP subwoofers are now shipping, featuring a stunning look with its finely finished deep multi-layered black piano lacquer and high gloss clear coat. Both models ship with remote and Remote eye accessories.
