Once released, the software will be usable with vendor approved hardware to bind control widgets with controllable parameters in networked audio devices. Integrators can set up simple user interfaces, and tailor configurations to individual needs using the UI builder. Features include simple control and monitoring widgets, placement via drag n’drop, own logo, image and theme selection. In addition, and depending on individual vendors, integrators can configure more advanced features like grouping parameters from multiple channels onto individual widgets, including over multiple independent devices.
DeusO has extensive experience building complex remote control applications, which conversely inspired the AUX Panel development. “What we see time and time again with control software are complexity challenges for novice users, and integrators, which is inevitable in complex systems,” says Matt Hardy, Business Development Partner at DeusO. “With AUX Panel, we’ve aimed to align with vendors looking for a simple solution to the challenge of building flexibility into control software. We’ve done this in part by reducing control protocol support to just the AES70 Open Standard. We are convinced that using AES70 reduces time to market for simple control UIs, and in combination with AUX Panel will deliver additional flexibility and time savings for integrators installing touch panel control solutions.”
The software is slated to be officially released later in 2024. Demos are available and enquiries are welcome from day one at the ISE 2024 Show, Booth 7G400. For more information contact Matt Hardy.
