Control4's impressive audio capabilities enhance the clarity and dimensionality of Apple Music’s top-tier features including Listen Now. Along with the Control4 app, users can also select favorite media and access playback controls through an Apple Watch.
Using the intuitive Control4 interface, users can browse through the expertly curated mixes, recommended playlists and their own personal music library. Ultra-fine EQ controls cater to personalized listening styles, and the Sessions page provides easy media transfer, sharing and control across multiple zones. Through the Control4 platform, professionally programmed scenes enable customized experiences that include Control4 lighting, shades, and temperature control to complement the music selection and ambiance.
The Control4 operating system allows users to define their personally curated Apple Music playlists to start streaming through the bedroom speakers as the daily Wakeup scene, while a different predetermined Apple Music Recommended For You Mix can stream to speakers in the kitchen at 8am sharp to keep users on time during the morning routine.
The integration of Apple Music is available to new and legacy Control4 customers with a Control4 CORE controller or Triad SA1 Streaming Amplifier, the latest Control4 OS 3.4.2 software, an active Connect or 4Sight subscription and an Apple Music subscription. This new feature was developed using officially published Software Development Kits (SDKs) and Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) to ensure seamless integration and simple setup.
Once live, users will be able to add Apple Music through their systems via Manage Music, or Partners can add it remotely or locally via Composer Pro or Composer Express.
