CEDIA Expo Virtual 2020 Scheduled for September 15-17

On the aftermath of the decision to cancel CEDIA Expo 2020, which was scheduled for September 8-12, 2020 in Denver, CO, Emerald Expositions released plans for an online-only event alternative. CEDIA Expo Virtual will run September 15-17, 2020 as a completely virtual and interactive experience, combining parts of the live event and all the same education opportunities to a global audience. The virtual event will feature inspirational sessions covering the industry’s hottest topics, face-to-face meetings with brands, product showcases, and networking forums.
 
On September 15 and 16, CEDIA will virtually host its education conference with a wide range of business and technical topics that will allow CEDIA members and nonmembers to connect with experts in the industry, explore the latest technologies, and gain valuable insight on navigating the business landscape. As the promoters highlight, the most important is for the CEDIA community to stay connected! While the classes will be virtual, the experience will be interactive, engaging, and leaving attendees with actionable takeaways to move their careers forward.
 
CEDIA Expo Virtual programming will run September 16 and 17 and include a series of Tech Talks, Keynotes, Design + Connection track, CEPro Fireside Chats, and TechBites. Following the 3-day live event, the CEDIA Expo Virtual platform will be available on-demand through the end of 2020.
 
Registration will open in early August. There will be a registration fee for CEDIA Education. The remainder of the experience will be free to attendees and press. Full agenda, sessions, and speaker lineup will be updated in the cediaexpo.com website. Companies interested in participating as exhibitor might still apply - there are no show floor restrictions.
