This ultra-miniature 2.1 Pearl Keshi system received its name from the small natural pearls found in Tahiti and the South Seas. Both the compact satellites, just 8cm in diameter, and the compact connected 22cm subwoofer, feature an original design, as spheres suspended in the air supported by a chrome-plated steel base, limiting the transmission of vibrations to the floor and surfaces. Available in black and white and designed to remain visible, The Pearl Keshi system blends easily into any interior.
The two Pearl Keshi satellite speakers feature a brand-new patented driver with an ultra-fine 50 micrometer membrane and neodymium motor, powered by a 300 Watts RMS (per speaker) module placed in the subwoofer. The design of these full-range speakers allows for long excursion and high-power handling for great dynamics, thanks also to the associated DSP signal processor that controls the 2.1 configuration. In total, this minimalist system is capable of delivering 1050 Watts RMS of total power, when adding the 450W subwoofer amplifier, allowing a fully dynamic and low distortion experience.
The impressive results that this over-amplified configuration allows are optimized using the latest DSP technologies perfected by Cabasse, with profiles adapted to its loudspeakers in order to optimize and adapt sound according to their location in the listening room. The bass dynamics are enhanced by patented multiband dynamic signal processing with feedback loops to constantly use all the available amp power. The Dynamic Fidelity Enhancer (DFE) - another approach developed for the Cabasse Pearl series - allows restoring the dynamics and the same balanced response of the source either in low volume for background music, or in party mode at full volume. The signal processing algorithms maximize the power sent to each speaker in real time, taking into account the listening level, spectral content and dynamics of the sound source.
Finally, users will be able to enjoy the ultimate optimization thanks to the built-in automatic room correction system (CRCS) and the integrated microphone that optimizes sound to the listening environment. Originally developed for the original La Sphère, all Cabasse Pearl speakers benefit from this patented automatic room correction system. The integrated measurement microphone allows users to perform very quick automatic acoustic optimizations using very high precision digital parametric filters and an algorithm to identify the “attenuated” spectral bands that are the result of room modes, which are then compensated.

As with all other products in The Pearl range, this new system integrates with the Cabasse StreamCONTROL multi-room system and allows playback of all high-quality digital audio formats, from AAC to FLAC, ALAC, and DSD128. The built-in DAC supports digital audio up to 32-bit/768kHz and the system can be connected to traditional wired sources as well as online music streaming services via Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, optical inputs and outputs, analog Aux, Ethernet and USB. For added listening comfort, a connected remote control is included.
The complete system is supplied in a custom wooden case, and 3 meter cables are included for each satellite speaker, as well as adapters and power cables. Shipments are scheduled for October 2021, with a reference retail price of 2,490 Euros (approx. $2,850 USD).
