beyerdynamic Introduces New Flagship Wireless Headphones and TWS Earbuds

September 9 2024, 01:35
During IFA 2024, beyerdynamic introduced two new additions to its wireless headphones and earbuds lineup. The all-new flagship AVENTHO 300, packed with advanced features, hybrid ANC, and Dolby Head Tracking technology, now leads beyerdynamic’s headphone range, while the AMIRON 300 offers a fresh approach to the company's true wireless stereo (TWS) earbuds. Both products represent a bold reinvention of the AVENTHO and AMIRON lines, combining cutting-edge wireless technology and chipsets with premium materials.
In tune with the 100th anniversary of IFA, beyerdynamic celebrated its centennial earlier this year and appropriately reserved for the massive Berlin trade-show the announcement of two new additions to its wireless product lineup. Unlike recent options from the German brand, both products embrace timeless designs to match classic beyerdynamic audio, now benefiting from the latest wireless audio technologies.

The technology-packed over-ear AVENTHO 300 takes over as beyerdynamic’s flagship headphones, while the AMIRON 300 earbuds are a new take on the company’s approach for the highly competitive TWS space. The all-new AVENTHO 300 and AMIRON 300 will be available in the US at the beyerdynamic e-shop and Amazon.com later in Fall 2024.

“There aren’t many companies today that can celebrate 100 years of innovation,” says beyerdynamic CEO Andreas Rapp. “We’re incredibly honored to be sharing our centennial year together with IFA, another historic and innovative German organization. There’s no better way to introduce our latest and greatest true wireless products than at IFA 2024, as it showcases a century of the latest and greatest innovations.”

The new AVENTHO 300 set a new standard for wireless headphones, featuring high-grade swivel and foldable aluminum yokes, lightweight materials, and an ergonomic design tailored for daily comfort. Equipped with beyerdynamic’s recognized STELLAR.45 drivers, engineered in Germany, the AVENTHO 300 headphones will appeal for its detailed, high-quality sound experience.

Designed for modern listeners, these headphones are Apple MFi certified and feature Dolby Head Tracking technology, offering immersive spatial audio that adapts to the user’s movements. To elevate the listening experience, the AVENTHO 300 headphones incorporate Hybrid Active Noise Cancelation (ANC), powered by dual Sony chipsets on either side of the headphones, ensuring customizable and consistent noise cancellation.
Transparency Mode allows users to remain aware of their surroundings without interrupting their listening experience, making AVENTHO 300 ideal for travel, commuting to the office, or working out. The headphones are also equipped with a pal-controlled touchpad and buttons for intuitive control, as well as wearing detection that will automatically pause or play music when the headphones are removed or put on. And with an impressive battery life of up to 50 hours, these are designed with extended use in mind. A quick 2-hour charge via USB-C delivers a full battery, while a 10-minute fast charge provides up to 5 hours of playtime.

With advanced Bluetooth 5.4 technology and multipoint connectivity, the beyerdynamic AVENTHO 300 can seamlessly transition between the two latest connected devices. Besides providing efficient charging, the USB-C connector can be used to connect to wired digital audio sources, and there’s also a 3.5mm analog audio jack. The AVENTHO 300 headphones support a wide range of audio codecs, including AAC, aptX Adaptive, and aptX Lossless, and are already ready for Bluetooth LE Audio with LC3, providing the ultimate compatibility.

Truly Wireless beyerdynamic
The completely new AMIRON 300 are the latest evolution of beyerdynamic’s true wireless earbuds series, offering the brand’s signature studio sound in an ultra-lightweight, compact design. A design that adapts perfectly to any lifestyle, the AMIRON 300 combine audio quality and all-day comfort.

Equipped with beyerdynamic’s signature 10mm dynamic drivers, the earbuds set a benchmark for true wireless earbuds. With six built-in microphones, enhanced with advanced algorithms to filter out ambient noise, the AMIRON 300 earbuds transform every call into a crystal-clear conversation, even in noisy settings. And the design also features customizable ANC that intelligently adapts to the user surroundings, allowing a superior music listening experience, while staying aware to the environment with advanced Transparency Mode. With automatic pause/play functions when the user removes the earbuds, and Multipoint Bluetooth 5.3 to connect multiple devices simultaneously, switching between a phone, laptop, and tablet becomes completely seamless.
Original but inconspicuous, the ergonomic AMIRON 300 earbuds also offer a secure fit with five different ear tip options, ensuring maximum comfort and stability during extended wear. With a flat back, the earbuds are optimized for a comfortable wear even if the user is lying down or leaning against the window of an airplane. At home, in the office, or on the go, the AMIRON 300 earbuds provide a secure and comfortable fit that lasts for an entire day. And with a total battery life of 38 hours and up to 10 hours of continuous playtime, that is not a problem. The AMIRON 300 earbuds also support fast charging, while the Qi-compatible charging case offers an additional 28 hours of battery capacity.

The all-new AVENTHO 300 headphones ($399.99) and AMIRON 300 earbuds ($279.99) will be available in the US at the beyerdynamic e-shop and Amazon.com in Q4 2024. Both are compatible with beyerdynamic’s new app for iOS and Android, offering easy sound customization and over-the-air (OTA) updates. The new app includes a 5-band equalizer for personalized sound profiles and genre-specific presets.
