B&C Speakers Completes Eighteen Sound and Ciare Acquisition

As anticipated back in October 2017, B&C Speakers SpA confirmed that the acquisition of Eighteen Sound was completed on Monday December 11, 2017. The acquisition of 100% of Eighteen Sound from the Landi Renzo Group represents a formidable expansion of B&C's business, entering new loudspeaker market segments, and creating a powerful portfolio of products for all types of speaker applications, all from its existing and newly-acquired Italy-based operations.

We can now blend our knowledge in manufacturing and development, helping to offer an improved product range, build quality and overall customer experience," says B&C CEO Lorenzo Coppini.

  The B&C, Eighteen Sound and Ciare brands will be presented together for the first time at the upcoming NAMM Show, happening in Anaheim, California from January 25-28, 2017.

Founded in 1946, B&C Speakers now operates out of a nearly 14,000 square meter, state of the art production and R&D facility in Bagno a Ripoli (Florence), Italy. Since 2007 B&C has been publicly traded on Borsa Italiana. With over 120 employees, 10% of whom work in research and development, B&C Speakers specializes in professional audio transducers, working with OEM loudspeaker brands from all over the world. Products include woofers from 2” to 21”, coaxials from 4” to 15”, and compression drivers from 1” to 4” voice coil diameter.
