The Axiometrix Solutions brands Audio Precision, GRAS Sound & Vibration, and imc Test & Measurement are hosting an exclusive seminar Thursday, September 12, 2024, at the British Motor Museum in Gaydon, Warwickshire, UK. There will be a number of workshops and presentations featuring live demonstrations that highlight Axiometrix Solutions brands' latest developments in vehicle testing technology.

Registration available here.

Attendees to this event can join interactive workshops and presentations on the latest techniques and equipment in automotive audio testing, aeroacoustics, vehicle dynamics, high-voltage testing, durability, and fatigue, and engage with industry experts.

Two distinct programs with workshops and presentations will feature live demonstrations highlighting Axiometrix Solutions brands' state-of-the-art equipment and offer insights into the latest advancements in vehicle testing technology. Program A will delve into in-vehicle acoustic testing, A2B automotive audio testing, and automotive aeroacoustics, while Program B will focus on vehicle dynamics, high voltage testing, durability, and fatigue. Participants have the flexibility to choose either Program A or B.

Included in Program A, Vehicle Acoustic Testing & Automotive Audio is a workshop showcasing all GRAS solutions intended for acoustical measurements in airflow and to understand the differences between various designs and their correct usage through practical demonstrations.

Another workshop will explore A2B automotive audio testing, now a cornerstone for major automotive manufacturers. In this session, attendees will be guided through configuring an A2B network for testing A2B-enabled devices using Audio Precision analyzers and Analog Devices' A2B Analyzer and evaluation boards, for measuring automotive audio applications. Live demonstrations using the APx500 software will illustrate various audio measurements for thorough automotive audio testing.

Those interested in learning more about the new AES TC-AA Recommendations for automotive testing will want to participate in a workshop exploring the GRAS RA0399 6-microphone array, equipped with the latest 1/4" high-sensitivity microphones from GRAS. This GRAS front end will be connected to the multichannel audio analyzer by Audio Precision.

Those opting for Program B, focused on vehicle dynamics and physical testing will be able to attend sessions exploring measurement challenges in electro vehicles, or a workshop focused on driving dynamics and testing using a car to demonstrate in real time the power of the imcCRONOSflex data acquisition system. A dedicated session on fatigue analysis will provide an introduction to the basic concepts, the mathematical background and practical applications in one of the most important applications of strain gauge technology.
