Following the successful introduction of the original Aperta Series aluminum speaker stands, two years ago, IsoAcoustics now announces availability of its larger Aperta 200 isolation stands, designed especially for high end hi-fi bookshelf and desktop speakers, for large speakers on floor stands, as well as under floor-standing speakers. The Aperta 200’s solid aluminum frame and isolator construction supports speakers weighing up to 75 lbs (34Kgs).
The award-winning designer and manufacturer of acoustic isolation stands confirmed the arrival of the highly anticipated sculpted aluminum Aperta 200 isolation stands, which are now available in the U.S. and Canada. IsoAcoustics’ Aperta 200, the latest addition to the Aperta line, brings a new standard for aesthetic design, isolation and performance in audio, complementing large bookshelf, desktop and floor standing applications, for pro audio and hi-fi use.
The company’s patented design approach to isolation stands combines multiple useful functions, starting with the possibility to raise the height of speakers to ear level, adjust tilt angle of tweeters for better focus, while also providing a solid open base design. The speaker isolation is obviously its main feature, decoupling the audio speakers or studio monitors from the supporting surface, reducing the energy from exciting other objects, and allowing the speaker and enclosure to float independently, while resisting lateral and secondary movements and oscillations.
Named for the Italian word for “open,” the Aperta 200 features a stylized open design and solid aluminum frame construction, with a very low profile (3.5 inches), enabling speakers to have a low stance while enhancing their clarity and performance. The stands unique tilt adjustment feature enables to set the optimum tilt angle, with fine gradation markings provided to ensure precise angle adjustments. “We are very pleased to be shipping the new Aperta 200 isolation stands, which complement and enhance nearly all high end audio and hi-fi speakers to deliver unprecedented sound clarity and openness,” says IsoAcoustics’ CEO Dave Morrison.
The Aperta stands are available now in both black and aluminum, with an MSRP of $299.99 per pair.
