About Zami Schwartzman
Zami Schwartzman is the founder and CEO of Thermoguide-Servobass. An electrical engineer who graduated in 1974 from the Technion in Israel, he worked for Motorola communications for 26 years, doing engineering and management of radio communication products development. He left Motorola 17 years ago and started his own engineering business—Thermoguide. Most of his business focuses on analog electronics, thermal design, and professional audio engineering. During these years he was deeply involved as a subcontractor with Waves Audio, a major software tools provider for the music industry. The Servobass desktop subwoofers described in this article were developed and engineered during COVID-19 as a complementary product that can be added beneath any nearfield studio monitor or be integrated into a three-way full-range speaker.
