Seen for the first time at the 141st Audio Engineering Society Convention in Los Angeles, IsoAcoustics’s new Aperta 300 speaker isolation stands expand the acclaimed Aperta series, designed to support center channel speakers or studio monitors in horizontal configuration, providing a wider base and supporting up to 60lbs (27.2kg). Also new from the Canadian company are the new GAIA speaker isolation feet, designed using IsoAcoustics patented isolation principles, replacing existing ball-casters, cones and spikes in high-end speakers.

Dutch software developer FabFilter announced the availability of FabFilter Pro-R, a high-end algorithmic reverb plug-in with musical controls and a very natural sound. FabFilter Pro-R is bursting with innovations like the intuitive Space control that seamlessly switches between dozens of room models with automatic decay time adjustment, and the industry-first Decay Rate EQ concept that introduces free adjustment of the decay time over the frequency spectrum. The plug-in also features a built-in Post EQ and many high-quality factory presets.
