MultiDyne Offers Dante and Ethernet Portable Interface Options for Fiber-Optic Links
MultiDyne Fiber Optic Solutions will introduce its new BULLET series of miniature, rugged fiber-optic link products at the 2019 NAB Show. In addition to the 12G-capable BULLET for high-bandwidth video launched at IBC 2018, MultiDyne will introduce an industry-first Dante-enabled BULLET for digital audio — also capable of Ethernet transport. This allows solving problems for last-minute video and audio feeds, and quickly scale for higher signal densities.

Synopsys Delivers USB4 Subsystem Verification Solution, VIP, and Test Suite for High-performance USB Architecture
Synopsys announced the availability of its Subsystem Verification Solution, Verification IP (VIP), and UVM source code test suite to support the latest USB4 specification. USB4 includes two-lane operation using the existing USB Type-C connector that can carry up to 40Gbps data over new certified cables. USB4 also supports Thunderbolt 3 and expands USB functionality to include new display capabilities.
