MSE Audio will showcase the Induction Dynamics ID1, a switchable four-way tower speaker with dual 10-inch subwoofers, at CEDIA 2019. Designed to respond to both home theater applications and as a stereo music listening system, the new Induction Dynamics ID1 pushes the envelope in audio performance by combining a four-way tower speaker with a subwoofer section via a rear switch with variable crossover frequency.

HEDD Confirms Air Motion Transformer HEDDphone Launch in 2019

Klippel Releases dB-Lab Software Update and new Application Notes
Klippel's software dB-Lab version 210, the unified framework for R&D and QC audio testing, diagnostics and simulation, has received a free maintenance update. The update includes bug fixes and minor feature updates for released modules and beta test products like the Live Audio Analyzer (LAA). dB-Lab is a project-oriented Windows application that also features all sorts of templates for common test setups.

u-blox Acquires Rigado’s Bluetooth Modules Business
Swiss company u‑blox, a global provider of positioning and wireless communication technologies, announced it acquired Rigado’s Bluetooth modules business in an Asset Purchase Agreement. Rigado is an Oregon-based provider of Edge‑as‑a-Service gateway solutions for Commercial IoT applications, and began offering certified wireless modules in 2015, implementing Nordic Semiconductor’s nRF52840 Bluetooth Low Energy (Bluetooth LE) SoC.
