Swedish digital audio processing pioneer Dirac announced the debut of a new digital audio solution for smartphones and other mobile devices. What can be described for now as a powerful audio enhancer implemented on a mobile app, applies headphone specific profiles, intended to “set a new standard in sound across all headphones.” For now, Dirac is tying the promotion of this new processing solution with feedback received directly from acclaimed DJs and music producers, which praise the solution as “the best way to experience the richness and energy of studio sound through any headphones.”
Jabra Unveils Improved Elite Active 75t True Wireless Earbuds Made-for-Active Lifestyles
At CES 2020, Jabra unveiled the Elite Active 75t true wireless earbuds, the active lifestyle edition of the recently announced Elite 75t true wireless earbuds. Taking advantage of the ultra-low-power Qualcomm QCC5126 Bluetooth audio SoC from Qualcomm Technologies, the Jabra Elite Active 75t is 22 percent smaller and boasts an 89 percent increase in battery life from its predecessor, the Elite Active 65t. The earbuds are built with a durable coating for dust and sweat resistance and are IP57 rated, making them waterproof.

PCB Completes Construction of $1 Million Clean Room Facility
As a leading global sensor supplier, PCB Piezotronics continues to invest in state-of-the-art pressure assembly operations. The company, a wholly owned subsidiary of MTS Systems Corporation, announced the completion of new environmentally controlled clean rooms totaling 4,300 sq. ft. at their Walden Avenue headquarters. The Quest Group Agrees to Acquire GoldenEar Technology
GoldenEar Technology, the manufacturer of home audio loudspeakers, and The Quest Group, best known as the owner of the AudioQuest brand of cables, Niagara power products, and DragonFly DACs, have announced that GoldenEar has become part of The Quest Group, a California corporation wholly owned by AudioQuest founder and CEO Bill Low. In a letter sent to GoldenEar dealers and distributors, Sandy Gross justifies the decision based on what The Quest Group's resources and capabilities can do for the company.
