xMEMS Labs Showcases Sleep Buds Reference Design with Active Venting at CES 2024

During CES 2024, xMEMS Labs unveiled an innovative reference design for the fast-growing sleep buds product segment. The MEMS pioneer had a lot to show at CES and the creation of reference designs using the companies new MEMS drivers speaks volumes as to the way the market is enthusiastically embracing the technology. The new reference design leverages xMEMS' solid-state Cowell drivers and Skyline DynamicVent technologies to deliver a trifecta of noise blocking, noise-masking sound, and an industry-first vented mode for improved comfort.

xMEMS Labs introduced Montara Pro, a MEMS microspeaker with an integrated solution that opens or closes the vent by sensor fusion input from the system DSP. This approach enables smart TWS earbuds and hearing aids that create best-of-both-worlds user experiences, combining the benefits of closed-fit (occluded) and open-fit earbuds. xMEMS is providing first demonstrations of Montara Pro this week at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas at Venetian Suite 29-325.
