Jabra Unveils Elite 8 Active and Elite 10 Generation 2 True Wireless Earbuds

With a fast pace of innovation in the true wireless stereo (TWS) space, most brands are scheduling product updates outside of a regular refresh cycle. As the consumer arm of GN Group, Jabra has the resources to follow through with this accelerated pace and quickly embrace features that are relevant for consumers. Having updated the firmware of its original Jabra Elite 8 Active and Elite 10 products early this year, the company now announced the next iteration Gen 2 of those very same products.

Dialog Semiconductor announced the DA740x, a family of highly-integrated audio codec chips that deliver best-in-class active noise cancellation (ANC), providing optimal audio performance in any environment to the rapidly-growing wireless headphones market. According to the British semiconductor company, the DA740x chips are able to deliver superior active noise cancellation – no matter how noisy the environment – with twice the audio quality and half the power consumption as competitive solutions.
