AONDevices and Atmosic Technologies Unveil Always-On Smart Remote Control Platform

A remote control that doesn’t require replacing batteries is something that we all want. But what about an ultra-low power, OEM-ready design that combines voice AI, sound detection and even speaker identification? And still doesn’t require changing batteries? That’s what AONDevices, a leading ultra-low-power, high-accuracy edge AI developer, and Atmosic Technologies, the company specializing in ultra-low-power wireless platforms, will showcase at CES 2025.

Syntiant unveiled its TinyML Development Board, an easy-to-use developer kit aimed at both technical and non-technical users for building machine learning-powered applications in smart products, such as speech commands, wake word detection, acoustic event detection and other sensor use cases. The new machine learning development board allows developers to build low-power voice, audio and sensor applications using Edge Impulse’s Embedded ML platform.

Ling Technology, the Chinese company behind the AI Owl Luka, which can read any picture books to children, and the Jibo social robot, is now announcing Auri, a brand new smart home light and smart speaker which aims to promote wellness with its intelligent lighting and ambient sounds to help lift moods and bring calmness into homes. But Auri is also a platform that Ling intends to expand with various accessories, like the Auri oil diffuser and the Auri motion sensor. The project is now being promoted with a crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo.
