Audiotonix Group Expands Into Audio Software With Acquisition of Slate Digital

The studio technology market is seeing some very strange moves. Audiotonix, the group of companies comprising Allen & Heath, Calrec, DiGiCo, DiGiGrid, Group One Limited, KLANG:technologies, Solid State Logic and Sound Devices, now announced further expansion in the US with the acquisition of Slate Digital. One of the most prolific makers of studio software plugins and software emulation of analog circuits, the LA-based company founded and lead by Steven Slate will enable new promising directions for the Audiotonix group.
