Glensound Introduces New AoIP Interface Products for NAB 2024

Glensound, the dynamic British manufacturer of audio networked systems is, once again, demonstrating its agility by introducing new and upgraded products much influenced by customer feedback. For NAB 2024, the company is using the opportunity to introduce new products for the broadcast market, expanding its range of Dante/AES67 audio-over-IP (AoIP) interfaces, now an essential ingredient in broadcast and installation applications.

Trinnov Audio, a pioneer in active acoustic technologies and manufacturer of reference audio processors for home theater, high-end hi-fi, professional audio and commercial cinemas, introduced NOVA, it's latest hardware processor and studio interface. NOVA essentially provides an updated platform to run Trinnov's loudspeaker/room optimization technology, while handling all studio monitoring duties and acting as a Dante studio interface. With the new hardware solution Trinnov also introduces much-improved control apps.

DirectOut Technologies has significantly expanded the capabilities of its recently released EXBOX.MD Dante/MADI interface, with a major firmware and software update. The German networking and pro audio specialist company previewed the updated EXBOX.MD at the AES Milan 2018 Convention, demonstrating it to be one of the most flexible Dante bridges presently on the market.

PreSonus announced the new PreSonus Studio 192 Mobile USB 3.0 22x26 audio interface and studio command center. Studio 192 Mobile delivers the same high-end audio, low-latency monitoring, tight software integration, and studio command center functionality introduced in PreSonus’ Studio 192 audio interface but in a smaller form factor suitable for both mobile and studio use.

One of the main highlights at the 2016 NAMM Show in Anaheim, Apogee introduced its new Symphony I/O Mk II. This multi-channel flagship audio interface features the best AD/DA conversion, up to 32 inputs and outputs, and optional world-class microphone preamps. The new Symphony I/O Mk II also offers the choice of direct connectivity to Thunderbolt, Pro Tools HD or Waves SoundGrid network.

Waves Audio had much to show at the 137th AES Convention in Los Angeles, including many news to share regarding their plug-in range. But the focus for the company’s presence was undoubtedly their studio and live sound range of solutions, with continuous demos of the new SoundGrid Studio System and new DiGiGrid Advanced Audio Interfaces. Completely new was the Waves Tracks Live multitrack recording software.
