Soyuz Launches 013 Ambisonic Microphone

The 013 Ambisonic combines four of Soyuz’s 013 FET small diaphragm condensers and four custom transformers into a single, phase-coherent mic that records 360° surround sound with fidelity and character. The included Soyuz Ambisonic plugins provide complete control in post-production, allowing users to shape the soundfield to their imagination. The 013 Ambisonic will simplify any setup, captivate any audience, and translate across any system - stereo or beyond.

In 2021, Soyuz introduced the world to a limited edition version of the renowned 017 Series microphone with an exclusive Brass Black finish. The 25 units quickly sold out and prompted Soyuz to continue the series with the release of the 023 Brass Black in May 2022. Soyuz Microphones now released a new batch of 017 Series Brass Black microphones. This limited edition run of 80 microphones (40 TUBE / 40 FET) uses a unique process called bluing to give the mic's body its beautiful hue and patina.
