Bluesound Professional Announces B170S Networked Streaming Amplifier Is Now Available

Originally unveiled in March 2022, the B170S Networked Streaming Stereo Amplifier by Bluesound Professional is now available across North American and global distribution markets. Introducing a high-quality, low impedance and constant voltage amplifier with a BluOS-enabled music player, the B170S module is a complete stereo solution for commercial installations. Orders for the B170S are open immediately with warehouse availability starting in September 2022.

The B170S Networked Streaming Stereo Amplifier is a versatile amplified streamer that offers a complete stereo solution for commercial installations, including native integration of partner music services like SoundMachine, Custom Channels, SiriusXM for Business, Qsic, Tunify and others.

Bluesound Professional continues to expand its premium distributed audio ecosystem for commercial spaces, now adding the BSP200 network streaming speaker. The BSP200 is an all-in-one PoE solution featuring the convenience of precision BluOS app control, streaming and connectivity, with superior sound quality when compared to standard installation speakers. Offered in a choice of White or Black matte finish, the BSP200 is now shipping in North America and globally in July 2021.

DTS, a wholly owned subsidiary of Xperi Corporation, announced a partnership between DTS Play-Fi and SoundMachine’s subscription-based service. The partnership gives business owners the ability to play commercial background music in their stores, restaurants, hotels, spas, or other locations through DTS Play-Fi-enabled products. Commercial users will receive a free 30-day trial through the DTS Play-Fi app.
