Legendary Console Brand Harrison Acquired by Solid State Logic

Solid State Logic (SSL) announced the acquisition of US-based pro audio console and music production software manufacturer, Harrison. Better known these days for the Mixbus DAW software mixing engines, Harrison is widely recognized for the development of large-format digital film mixing consoles, and custom software for the sound-for-film industry. With the acquisition, the Audiotonix technology group, which also owns DiGiCo, SSL, Allen & Heath, Calrec, and Slate Digital, expands its leadership in the mixing console business even more.

Waves Audio introduced the new eMotion LV1 Proton 16-Channel Live Mixing System at the 147th AES Convention in New York.
