Waves MaxxAudio Powers Skyworth S100 Soundbar

As an established provider of adaptive audio processing technologies to the consumer electronics industry and the recipient of a Technical GRAMMY Award, Waves Audio frequently powers all classes of audio products and its MaxxAudio logo can be found in TVs and even laptops. Now, Skyworth TV, the television manufacturer has teamed up with Waves to incorporate Waves MaxxAudio sound enhancement technology in the new Skyworth S100 Soundbar.

WiSA, the Wireless Speaker and Audio Association, founded by Summit Wireless Technologies, announced that Association member Skyworth Group, one of the largest TV manufacturers in China, has launched the Metz Sculpture 1 TV and speakers complete with wireless connectivity technology. As part of the Black Label Sculpture Series, this launch serves as Metz’s world premier product from the century-old luxury TV manufacturer now owned by Skyworth.

Momentum continues to build for WiSA LLC, the Wireless Speaker and Audio Association, as a leading wireless, multichannel audio solution for television manufacturers. WiSA is comprised of over 60 leading consumer electronics brands, including already some television manufacturers which have helped turn the wireless audio technology much more appealing for home theater and gaming setups, expanding from stereo to multichannel audio applications. Now WiSA confirmed Skyworth Group Limited as its newest member.

Dusun Electron announced a new Bluetooth audio module based on Qualcomm aptX Low Latency audio technology, designed for wireless speakers and voice assistant product development. According to Dusun, with the new DSI-0095 module, audio data can be preserved with less than 40ms transmission latency, ideal for voice-based designs that can also be used on hands-free control to effectively interact with visual media devices, home appliances, or car equipment.
