Holoplot Welcomes Klas Dalbjorn as Product Manager

Berlin-based pro audio company Holoplot, the inventors of the X1 Matrix Array and pioneers of 3D beamforming technologies for large scale sound reinforcement applications, announced the appointment of Klas Dalbjorn to the role of product manager. Dalbjorn brings 30 years of pro audio experience to his new position, following his key roles as product manager at Powersoft, and 24 years with Lab.gruppen.

KV2 Audio, the professional audio company founded by George Krampera, announced the ESM312, a very high output, 3-way, passive monitoring solution using two bass reflex loaded 12" neo woofers, a single horn loaded 6“ midrange woofer and a 1” compression driver. Housed in a professional robust Baltic Birch cabinet, with a protective polymer paint coating and heavy-duty grille, the ESM312 was designed for large scale stage monitoring applications, where quick and easy set up is required.

Following the Italian patent awarded in 2021 to the Outline Newton, an FPGA-based audio processor, the Brescia-based company announced it has now also received a domestic patent for its Warped Finite Impulse Response (WFIR) technology. The Italian manufacturer of professional loudspeaker systems - a pioneer in line-source and adjustable line arrays systems for large scale applications - continues to invest in new loudspeaker-related technologies and has already also applied for an international patent.

Fulcrum Acoustic continues to create new innovative loudspeakers at an impressive pace. Now, the Massachusetts-based manufacturers has released the DF4 Dual High-Frequency Horn, a spot fill loudspeaker aimed at supplemental high frequency coverage for areas shaded by obstructions. Dual four inch diaphragm high frequency compression drivers provide substantial output suitable for mid to long throw applications. And the new DF443 is particularly effective in applications where supplemental HF coverage may be required due to occlusion from the primary loudspeakers by venue obstructions.

German pro audio manufacturer CODA Audio is unveiling its own immersive audio processor, completing a system approach to the format in performance events. The Space Hub was designed for low latency processing of up to 128 objects x 128 output channels, using the 3D panning algorithms selectable per object within its Space software. The new solution, presented at the Tonmeistertagung 2021 conference in Dusseldorf, also explores the advantages of CODA's linear–phase loudspeaker designs.

Successful British loudspeaker manufacturer Void Acoustics continues to expand its range of installation oriented products, in parallel with its incredibly popular clubbing designs. Part of its recently updated Venu V2 loudspeaker series, Void has now added an ultra-compact subwoofer equipped to overcome challenging installations. Using dual 8” high excursion woofers, the Venu 208 subwoofer is ideal for low-frequency extension in distributed or background music systems.
