GRAS Releases New Production Line Microphones with EQset

GRAS Sound & Vibration launched the new GRAS 40PO-L and 40PO-H measurement microphones with EQset technology. These new production line microphones enable consistent and reliable audio testing, ensuring high-quality results across different locations. With a new capsule design and a frequency response up to 40kHz — suitable for High-Res compliance and ultrasonic applications — these microphones deliver improved accuracy in test results.

Listen released SoundCheck 21, the latest version of its flagship audio test software. The update includes a new enhanced Loose Particles algorithm for transient distortion measurements in a wide range of devices. It also offers increased measurement capability with the new multichannel FFT analyzer. SoundCheck 21 also introduces support for AudioConnect 2, Listen’s new compact and high resolution (up to 192kHz sampling rate) two-channel audio interface.

Klippel has released a new software update for the Klippel Analyzer System with various new features for both R&D and QC applications. The most important updates include an improved Time Frequency Analysis (TFA) module, the official release for the QC 3D Spectrogram Limits (3DL) optional module for Quality Control (QC) testing, while adding Impedance (IMP) for T/S parameter testing and Motor + Suspension Check (MSC) tasks, among other features, to the QC Stand-alone software. The update is free of charge for all users running dB-Lab 212 or QC7.

Audio Precision are once again exhibiting at Prolight+Sound, which runs from April 5-8 in Frankfurt, Germany. Planned application demonstrations during the show include enhanced electro-acoustic and production testing setups, testing Dante-enabled systems, and measuring high-performance amplifiers, ADCs and DACs. The company will also demonstrate its latest software release.
