Microchip Offers New Long-Reaching USB 3.2 Compatible Reclocker/Redriver Devices for Up to 15 Meters in Both Directions

The standard universal serial bus or USB connection is an industry mainstay that transfers data between two devices. Applications across the automotive, industrial and consumer industries have spurred the need for far-reaching USB cabling products. Microchip now introduced the new EQCO510 and EQCO5X31 devices, which offer a solid two-channel solution to send high-speed data signals up to 15 meters in both directions.

Diodes announced the PI3EQX10612/PI3EQX10312 2-port 10Gbps linear ReDriver devices with integrated USB-C detection for equipment implementing a USB Type-C interface. Offering 1:2/2:1 mux/demux functionality, the ReDrivers can be used to extend the reach of USB signals running across rigid or flexible PCBs in gaming consoles, laptops, desktop computers, tablets, and other consumer applications.

Diodes introduced a series of USB ReDrivers for application in industrial, embedded, and consumer electronics products. The PI3EQX1004E and PI3EQX1002E are USB 3.2 compliant, 5Gbps to 10Gbps, 2-Port/1-Port, linear ReDrivers. The devices are backwards compatible with USB 3.1 Gen 1, 5Gbps and offer ultra-small and thin package types to reduce PCB size and total BOM cost. They have adjustable linear equalization, output swing, and flat gain to optimize performance over a variety of physical media by reducing intersymbol interference.
