STMicroelectronics Reveals Cable-Free Connectivity for eUSB Devices

New short-range wireless point-to-point transceiver ICs from STMicroelectronics remove the need for cables and connectors in consumer-friendly accessories, wearables, and personal electronics. The new ST60A3H0 and ST60A3H contactless connectivity transceivers with eUSB2, UART, GPIO or I2C tunneling address all data-transfer challenges in a cost-effective way. WiSA Technologies announced the results of an independent lab testing of its new DS 2.4GHz multichannel wireless audio module which is designed specifically for soundbars with wireless rear speakers and a subwoofer.
